Terms and Conditions

Terms of payment

· All payments must be made 48 hours prior to each session. If payment has not been received 48 hours ahead of the date and time of the scheduled session, no tuition will take place.

· Payments will be made to Miss Tanya K Szulc. Account Number: 15008191 Sort code: 07-02-46

· Tuition prices will be reviewed and subject to change at the beginning of each academic year. These will be communicated in advance.

· Beginning tuition will be deemed as acceptance of all terms and conditions.

Arranged sessions

· Students will have the required equipment for the session including a device, pen, paper and calculator. When additional equipment is required such as a ruler, protractor or compass, this will be communicated a week in advance.

· If working online, students will have a working device and a functioning internet connection. Sessions will not be extended due to technical difficulties.

· Sessions will begin at the scheduled time. Sessions will not be extended due to student lateness.

· In the event that a student is more than 15 minutes late to a session without any contact to explain lateness. The session will be ended and charged in full.

· No grades can be guaranteed due to factors outside of the tutors control.

Absence and holidays

· Unarranged Absences during term time – Notice must be given a minimum of 24 hours prior to the session. This includes notice of a rearrangement request. Missed sessions with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at full price.

· Unarranged Absences during school holidays – Notice must be given a minimum of 72 hours prior to the session. This includes notice of a rearrangement request. Missed sessions with less than 72 hours notice will be charged at full price.

· Arranged Absences – Where possible, notice should be given in advance but notice should be given in line with term time or holiday policies.

· A maximum of 1 session can be cancelled or rearranged per school half term.

· Rearranged sessions but take place during the same half term.

· Bank holidays and school holidays will not affect normal scheduled sessions.

· Tutor holidays will be communicated with students and booked a minimum of 1 week in advance.

Tutor sickness will be communicated as soon as possible. No fee will be charged for the session. The session will be rebooked at a time that suits both the tutee and tutor. If no alternative time can be agreed, the session will be refunded.
